Navigate to an address or points of interest with detailed maps of the United Kindgom and Ireland, as the Garmin 300 provides turn-by-turn voice guidance and automatic routing of fastest or shortest route all at the touch of a finger.

With text-to-speech functionality, the Garmin Nuvi300 announces the name of upcoming streets, letting you keep your eyes on the road while navigating through busy traffic and unfamiliar roads. Automatic re-routing will automatically calculate the quickest way to get back on track of you happen to stray off course.

The Garmin Nüvi 300 features an JPEG image viewer, MP3 music player, audio book player, world travel clock, calculator, currency and measurement converter. Loaded with travel information by Marco Polo, get recommendations and reviews on tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels and more.

The Garmin Nuvi 300 can receive traffic updates with the addition of the Garmin GTM 12 FM TMC antenna which is sold separately. This will pick up free traffic information where available over the radio to help avoid road congestion. If traffic updates are important to you, it will be worth buying the Garmin Nuvi 300T which includes the receiver.
