The Magellan RoadMate 1200 UK is a budget satnav that provides basic features for road navigation throughout the United Kingdom with pre-installed street maps of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. With an intuitive icon-based user interface the easy-to-use Magellan Road Mate 1200 guides drivers to their destination using voice and on-screen display prompts.

Magelan's QuickSpell function means finding your way is quick and with thousands of points of interest along with roadside assistance, drivers can simply select information on local facilities such as garages, petrol stations, restaurants and hotels based on their current location.

The RoadMate 1200's pocket-sized design and integrated re-chargeable battery makes it possible to use it away from the car for up to three hours, and while plugged in and driving, the Magellan 1200 GB will recharge itself using the included cigarette lighter power adapter.

"I love this little sat-nav, it has done the job very well. My problem is I wish to buy the latest maps on SD card but had no success at the Magellan site. My query to customer services by email was returned undelivered. Can I buy the latest maps? (UK & ROI)" Rated:
